After sharing some of my insights, things I hear randomly, meditations, and dream symbolism with friends, I began to realize that not all of this information is meant for me. Honestly, this was a relief as it was taking quite a bit of effort and energy to keep it all to myself! Now I'm on a mission to share my connection and love for the natural world, people, and life with those who resonate. When did you start sewing?
When I was 14 my father taught me how to sew when my sister and I uncovered his stash of old 70's corduroys in our attic. My first project was digging through his scrap pile to pick out the right print so that I could turn those pants into bellbottoms by adding triangle inserts at the bottoms. I was instantly hooked and since that day in 1996 I have never stopped trying to find new and creative ways to use old garments.
I like to create with intention and hope to pass on and inspire others to see everyday objects as useful materials for creativity, play, and change!
